Everyday Hero award for HAC Reservist and Cadet Adult Volunteer

Sergant Mark Goatcher, a Reservist with the Honourable Artillery Company's Corps of Drums, has won an award at the St John Ambulance Everyday Heroes Awards for his quick thinking at a London school. Cancer can’t stop Army Cadet Force Volunteer completing half-marathon

 An Army Cadet Force Adult Volunteer has completed a half-marathon despite being in the midst of treatment for cancer. Sergeant Pauline Palmer usually spends her spare time helping to run the Army Cadets in Tulse Hill but she is currently on leave from 74 Cadet Detachment (Royal Regiment of Fusiliers) while undergoing chemotherapy. 27/Sep/2017Read more here...
