London Reservist Private Scott Mitchell, who lives in Wandsworth, recently took part in an Exercise with 10 Queens Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment RLC.
Scott 29 who is a driver with 151 Regiment RLC took part in Exercise KHUKURI ENDURANCE on Dartmoor Training Area. Meeting every challenge Scott covered a distance of 60km over two days navigating through check points, carrying full kit throughout.
151 Regiment RLC is paired with a 10 QOGLR RLC and works alongside them as part of 101 Logistic Brigade. After just completing his Cat C LGV licence at Donnigton, London Reservist Scott joined 10 QOGLR for the exercise.
On arrival and meeting Regular colleagues from the section, Scott was appointed Section Second in Command for the duration of the Exercise. Meeting every challenge Scott helped guide the section to first place in the Patrol Competition.
On completion of the Exercise, Scot said: "I have had a fantastic time working alongside 10 QOGLR and experiencing the strong bonds and shared values that exist between our two Regiments".
Another example of how Regular and Reserve Units can work together to serve and protect the Nation.
