Teams from 151 Regiment RLC, 10 Queens Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment and 3 Logistic Support Regiment took part in an Operational Shooting Competition over the weekend to celebrate their Regular and Reserve pairing. The competition was visited by Brigadier Harrington Assistant Deputy Commander 3 UK Division, who was invited to fire the new SA80 A3 weapon.
151 Regiment won the Urban Contact and Advance to Contact matches and 10 QOLGR won the short-range Rural Contact Match and were overall unit Champions.
The champion shot went to Cpl Ingram 151 Regiment RLC. This was also an opportunity to mark the anniversary of G Troop 562 Sqn RLC which was formed a year ago.
